Flower Power

This project i had in mind for a while after reading a blogpost from La-De-Dah in april.'s the right time to start ....because the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge is asking for Leaf - Spiration.

I started with a bunch of coloured circles and leaves from old book pages and i used 300 g cardstock for my background...

I've coloured the background with different templates and acrylic paint. On top a colour wash...

After it dryed, i stamped only the stems with acrylic paint

I sewed around the edges and on stems. Decided for a more blue-ish backgound and applied more paint

Sewed on the leaves, also

Adhered the circle flowers with gel medium. On top some buttons and white dots with a gel pen around the leaves. Sponged  some fired brick distress ink around the edges.

I still had enough circles and i've also made a card the same way

I think i'm going to use the background as a book cover. That's why i didn't applied any saying yet

My leaf - spiration (:o)
Thanks for reading and your appreciated comments
