It's a Prima donna....

...this Almanac paperline from Prima Marketing....i love it!! (:o) Cardmaking...no problem!! And i went mad with layers. I teared, distressed, punched, ripped, glued, glossy accented (:o)  and sewed. On top a little bit Stickles.
But what's a card without a saying? I picked a special one ( for me) ...as submission for the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge this week. It's all about  to use a sentiment in some way.

SOooooo...what do you say?????? (:o)

I hope you have a lot to say (:o)
Thanks for reading and your appreciated comments.

Paperminutes - Challenge # 227

Hi Bloggers, friends and lovely followers (:o) Hope you had a nice weekend. I am busy with a lot of things i can't show at the moment, but i had time also to use some scraps. This makes room for new paper *lol*
As i started with scrapping 2 years ago, i've made a masculine themed mini album with a template from Laura Denison *Following the paper trail* you'll find here
I used the 8 x 8 paperstack from Graphic 45 *A Proper Gentleman* and i still have a lot scraps.

The challenge at Paperminutes is asking for Charmes - Card for a man and gives me the chance to deplete my scraps. So here is my first submission ever for Paperminutes.

I used red cardstock for the base. The darker cardstock piece in the background is from core'dinations Graphic 45 Timeless Collection. This is a very cool collection with canvas texture and embossed patterns. If you sand the embossing areas as i did, you reveal the core colour. I used  a stamp from the Air Travel Collection from Stampers Anonymous on Craft Cardstock, which is adhered behind my fuzzy cutting of the two gentlemens. The quote is also from that paperline. My charme is a hardware tool every man need and hanging on a Tim Holtz swivel clasp. There's a little compass from the Air Travel Collection i've stamped on shrink plastic. I also used 3 Tim Holtz Memo Pins. The letters are computer generated and adhered with Glossy Accents. The rusty corner piece is from my stash.

I hope you like my card of scraps and i wish you a nice start into a new week.
Thanks for your nice comments, i always enjoy and appreciate (:o)

Hi my friends (:o) Starting with a happy post into the weekend.

A while ago, exactly in april ......i promised you to show a project when it's finished. If you can't remember then, please take a look ..here.
The good news is, it's finished since a while. The bad news is, i'm still not able to show it...
And what is now the happy thing about it, you're asking ???

I've send my project to our German Craft Magazin called ScrapArtZine and it's published. Now i still have to wait a view weeks, till i'm able to show it to you.

Here is a little sneak

See me, doing the happy dance? (:o)

I wish you a nice and creative weekend.
I enjoy the last ray of sunlight, because the rain is coming back.
Still busy with a huge canvas and little things.

ATC Letter E - Extreme

It continues.......here comes Letter E - Extreme

 Elfe...means Fairy (:o)

I created a template for the background.

This cool idea comes from Olga and i had to make one, too.
I used distress ink vintage photo and the stamp is from the Octopode Factory called Steampunk Nipper Cinnamon.

Summer arrived in Germany for a view days.
It was really hot today and i'm so glad to be barefoot at home now. (:o)

Enjoy the day!

Beautiful and cute

Hello my friends. I hope you had a great weekend. I'm starting this week with something beautiful and cute. Between assemble a pavilion, i'll show you at the end of this post and working on a huge canvas, i had a playtime in Julie Nutting manner. She's a great artist and maybe you own her book Collage Couture.
The Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge is asking for some female, girly or ladylike creation and i think my tag fits perfect.

This time i was working without any template. The paperdoll is freestyle handcut. I have painted the hair and shoes with acrylic paint. Although i did art at school,  i'm not one of those lucky people who can draw from memory but ....i can copy (:o)

Ok and now up to the finished pavilion. As Elly manner, some pictures from the work in progress

Happy Monday
I enjoy the sunshine (:o)

A little bit of everything.....

Hello Blogger Friends (:o) Weekend is coming and i want to give you a little update of what's going on here.
First i want to show you my altered chandelier, which went to a 50's birthday, last week.

Before

After

Because it's to big for a nice paper - wrapping, i've made a nice bunting from 70!! flags i think (:o)

By the way, i received some nice presents.
The first is an atc, which came with royal mail.
Tracey from inkypinkycraft had made some atc's for an aniversary swap and one more for the first leaving comment and yes, i'm the lucky girl who received it. Thanks so much, Tracey. (:o)

I also received a very nice card and some seeds from my dear friend Caro.

Here you see some of the little baby's growing

Talking about seed. At rain free moments ( and there are not a lot this year), i was busy in my garden. Even the moments are not long enough, to finish painting the fence.

Hope i can show you a new pavilion at this place in a view weeks

And finally, i'll show you a commission work for friends.
I have to transform this canvas 1m x 1m

When i get this finished, there a four more frames waiting...as you can see on this sketch

This is really a challenge for me. I'm working this together with help from my friends from my german forum
Paperbraut.de As you can see on the sketch, the biggest is the middle one and i'm working on two layout's with a main theme.

Hopefully my mojo is not leaving me....(:o)
Have a nice and creative weekend.
Thanks for reading and leaving comments. I always appreciate every single one.

Something round and girly.......

The Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blog is asking to create some art *circle* themed with some rubberstamping for the July Challenge and there are no rules at the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge.

I had a play with my new Graphic 45 Ladies Diary paperline and created a box from old CD's.

If you want to make a box too, here's a short tutorial how i did it.....

Adhered paper to CD's

12" piece of paper
Scored 1,5 cm on each side and some cutting

Adhered CD's to paper

I used grungepaper for the flap

Adhered flap to box with red sticky tape

Secured with 3 brads on each side

Used strong mini magnets for closure

Tim Holtz Hitch Fastener for feets

Some lace, halfpearls and a Tim Holtz Kurio Knob for decorating
Stamped plate is from Inkadinkado

Finally ...the inspiration for this box ...
Maybe you remember one of my obsessions....

Ok...this was very girly.....but i hope you like it, too (:o)

Thanks for reading and of course your appreciated comments

Happy Monday

Elly
