Jewelry - Handmade with heart

Here is another idea for making handmade gifts for family and friends. All you need is some broken jewellery or a chain you don't like anymore. You can even use ribbon. Crinkled or hand - dyed...it's up to you. You also need a piece of shrink plastic. I used the white plastic and stamped with black StazOn, but you can also use black shrink plastic and stamp with white StazOn.
Craft a project with heart .... i always do (:o)...is the theme of Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge this week.
My example

I stamped on white shrink plastic with black StazOn.
As you can see, i'm not a perfect stamper (:o)

I used watercolour pencils, to colour the images. Beware....the colours are getting darker when you shrink the plastic. My colouring was a little bit too dark...
Make holes before shrinking, where you want to assemble the pieces

Here you see the pieces after shrinking and the original images

Everything went out a lot darker in colour as i expected.

This stampset is from Chocolate Baroque *Punky Romance*

I finished with Glossy Accents, Stickles and little watchparts on top of the images and assembled everything together with an old chain.

Here is another short example for stamping on black shrink plastic whith white StazOn

The possibilitys are endless

Thanks for reading and please let me know if you give it a try. I really like to see your ideas.

Thanks for your appreciated comments, too (:o)

FwA - Challenge # 75 - Faces

Challenge # 75 at Fun with ATC's is asking for Faces.
Well, long time no ATC on my blog. It was time to change this.... (:o)

As you can see, there is no stamp used in this case. That's why i call it  *Unique papercrafting* I had a play with a lot bits and pieces of paperstrips. Very fiddly..(:o)

It's the backside of an ATC - Booklet, i've made for a trade with a friend. I'll show the rest, when it's received

Happy Sunday to all of you

Altered Bottle with Vintaj Patinas

Here is....my altered bottle with metal foil and vintaj patinas from Ranger.

And if someone's interested, how i did it.....

Here's the bottle before

The foil i used

Went metal thru the cuttlebug

Adhered the foil to the cap

Adhered foil to bottle with hotglue - gun

Used blue and green patinas as i showed you on my box here

Adhered some metal embellishments, too

Used patinas on metal embellishments also

Applyed some friendly plastic to bottle neck. You can stamp into the friendly plastic, when you heat it up with the heat - gun or stick halfpearls in it, as i dit

Finished with white anitique rub'n buff

Love to read what you think (:o)

Say *Thank you*.....

...with a handmade gift.
I have stamped a * Folded Thingy* That's how Zuzu call it, where i found the idea a while ago.
I've stamped on a  left over pieces of paper, which i hand - dyed with coffee. And it seems, it's the right time to show it, because Simon Says Stamp and Show  challenge us to say thanks in some way.

I will send this little piece of art together with a triple time layer card.
My first one! (:o)

I hope you like my *Thank you* creations (:o)
Now i'll try my luck on some christmas cards

Thanks for your appreciated comments

Festive Sparkle

This time, i wanted to try some Vintaj Patinas. Actually i want to pimp a bottle with some kind of soft metal and the patinas but i'll try it on an example with cheaper selfadhesive aluminiumfoil first.
As it has to fit the challenge on Crafty Individuals - Festive Sparkle and after a search in my cellar for a suited object, i've made an altered christmas box.

And here is how i started

A plastic box, folder and aluminiumfoil

Adhere the foil to the box

Adhered some embellishments, too

started with Patina *Cinnabar*
Look out!! This paint drys in seconds!!
I always used only tiny drips...

a mix of *clay, moss and verdigris*

Because i don't have any Treasure Gold of Rub 'n Buff, i used Metallic Rub ons, the black one

And just because it wasn't dark enough for me, i used a spritz of Glimmer Mist *Black Magic*

I dabbed on a matt sealer

Cool colour, but not *worn* enough for me, so i used a colour wash of Acrylic Paint on top....

..and stamped some stars on cardstock...

Again, the finished box

What a cool, handmade gift for christmas, don't you think?

Thanks for your appreciated comments (:o)
