SanDee & Amelie's Steampunk Challenges
For the clock, i used a new stamp from LaBlanche and stamped on acatate with StazOn...
..and i painted with acrylics on the back....
..then i glued an old book page behind and applyed the wizers with a brad
I used cardboard for the base
Glued on some paper from DCWV - Tattered Time
The roof and also the clock are adhered with 3D dots for more demension
I also used some cardboard strips to give the clock more demension
I stamped some gears on strips, too
I cut a Dusty Attic chipboard gear in two pieces and painted with gold dabber. At the left and right side of the roof, i used cardboard gears made with Tim Holtz die.
On top of the roof, i used a piece of the Tando Wings and Cog set and adhered a metal clock. The cardboard piece behind the stamped steampunk bird is made with a mask and modeling paste
Under the clock you see a bigger gear from Tim Holtz die. Actually i glued three pieces together. Painted with acrylic and a pocket watch part from LaBlanche. It's melted with Utee in a pan, because i don't own a melting pot. I used my non stick craft sheet
Maybe i could give you some inspiration, to make your own cockoo clock?
Thanks for reading and your patience for all the pictures (:o)
