ATC Trade and some Answers

Hi crafters, blogger and apprecited followers (:o) Here is my last post for this week, before i start into a hopefully sunny weekend. I promised to show my romantic themed atc trade, when it's received. I often get the question, where to get the paint i'm using, especially the DecoArt Traditions Acrylic Paints i'm using for my timeworn treatments. Well, there are a lot online shops out there but i can really advise you The Stamp Attic. It's the major stockist of DecoArt products in the UK now. The shop owner is very helpful and if you are looking for something you can't find in the shop right now, just send an email to and she try's the best to find what you are looking for.

I started to create a book, to fit the atc's inside, but i went kinda crazy and well, it's actually a stand now, because it can't be closed anymore

Some steps how i've made the cover

I used corrugated cardboard, painted with DecoArt acrylic white and on top Crackle Paint Clear Rock Candy

I used a babywipe and applyed DecoArt Acrylic Paint Pebbles

Something new are these Clear Sraps Acrylic / tag shaped, stamped with La Blanche Stamp and StazOn black, then painted with DecoArt Acrylics on top. If you let the StazOn dry a little bit, you get a really crisp image. Press Clear Scrap on top of stamp for more control.

Front Look

Glued paper to the backside

Sateh stick painted white and fixed to cover with two strips of cotton and brads. Glued two beads to the end of the stick

Hope you like it  (:o)
Have a nice weekend and thanks for leaving all your appreciated comments

Oh wow! Wunderschön ... mir liegt diese Romantik und shabby Sache nicht, aber ich bin eine große Bewunderin :-) Als Miniparavant sieht es auch total klasse aus :-) Schönes Wochenende und LG, Suzanne
