I was nearly ready with my first tag as i noticed, i made one with my favorite tv show with unusual colours and sure not neutral. I guess, i was still somewhere else with my head (:o) So i started another one.....
This time i used a # 10 size manila tag and DecoArt Decoupage, to adhere a lot scraps of old book pages, sheet music and tissue tape
Then i applyed two thin layers of Gesso
I stamped with Archival black and coffee and used DI vintage photo and walnut stain on the tag
I found the lady image via Google, which i associate with *The Beauty and the beast* I glued down the image with Decoupage and used it also on top of the image and the tag, to get a bonding for the next step as i used 2 step perfect crackle medium. I finished with a blending tool and DI vintage photo on top
A little bit lace on top of the tag, some bling for the beast eye
Well...and now about the workshop weekend with Andy Skinner.
I've pinched some pictures from Facebook for you. They were posted while we were busy
I was so excited, to meet Master Skinner
It was very relaxed workshop with 13 lovely ladies. It was also nice, to meet Alie and Suzanne in person. I'm very happy to made the acquaintance with Lia, the owner of *De Craftorij*. We went out for dinner afterwards with her husband, doughter and Mr. Skinner of course.
Thanks so much. It was a terrific atmosphere
I also took some inbetween pictures of my crafting progress of the back cover
A little collage (:o)
I had a tremendous time
Thanks for reading my friends and your appreciated comments
