A good question

Simon Says Stamp and Show is asking for this week challenge: What are you known for?
Definitely i'm not a morning person (:o)... but as it's all about crafting.....i would say:
I cannot be pigeonholed (:o)

I used dominoes, little chipboards and hinges for the construction

Well, what's the signature in my crafting?
Maybe you tell me?
I love to read your very appreciated comments (:o)

Have a nice weekend

Dress to impress

I was impressed, as i saw the tags of the DT at DragonsDream TIO #134
The challenge theme is dress to impress and you have to use a dressform, embossed impressions, some bling and at least one real stamp.
Here is my entry

I created the background with....

..selfadhesive aluminium foiltape, TH texture fades *subway* and cuttlebug

Applyed one layer gesso....( yes, here i used another embossing folder)

..and some alkohol inks

I also used foil, gesso and alkohol ink on a TH Journaling Ticket and used a saying from TH Stamp Set *Papillion*  The chipboards ( Coat Hanger and Dressform) are from Maya Road *Still Sew Cute* I used acrylic paint and stickles on the little coat hanger. The dressform is 3 times heat embossed and stamped with another stamp from *Papillion - Set*  with StazOn Metallic Copper.

I hope, you're impressed, too (:o)
Thanks as always, for your nice comments

Ranger- Ology

Yes, actually i'm busy with transforming my Pez - Dispensers in DeMeng style. There is much thinking going on, about the new construction and a lot drytime in between, to fix all the little elements...
I searched the internet for more ideas and came along the 12 tags of 2013 from Master Tim...and because we all have these Ranger Goodies lying around, i used a Pez - Dispenser - Drytime to create the january tag.

I changed my tag a little bit, but it's still all Ranger - Ology

Think BIG

I've started transforming this canvas at the summer and it's now finished.
Size 1m / 1m

As i started, it looked like this

I painted over the background first with a green colour, used a big size swirl stamp too and applyed a grey wash on top. Next layers are burlap, wallpaper and 7 Gypsies tissue paper. On top of the tissue paper a white wash. The chipboard letters are painted and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I also used crackle paint on the word home.

Some details

Used Gesso an a big flower and stamped with StazOn

Adhered flowers in different size, lace and burlap. Painted with white Acrylic
You'll also find some shrink plastic pieces as the watch face and the little doll face

Click on the pictures for a larger view and you'll also find pearls and chipboard

Lace Love is the theme at Simon Says Stamp and Show for this week and this will be my contribution
Thanks for reading, leaving nice comments and i wish you all a

Happy Weekend

I've called him *Jupp*

This peace actually started as a simply altered mousetrap, but you know, when your mind is getting
 busy.....who knows, how it's ending......

I've called him *Jupp*
I don't know, how Martina is calling him, because he went to her home, as a christmas gift

I used a lot Andy Skinner Online Workshop Techniques

Owl - Mania

I'm on my way to PEZster Island (:o) With abundance of patience, i'll have to watch a bundle of 14 videos, before i can start to personalize my Pez Dispender *pretty dramatic* It's never wasting time to watch, listen and learn anyway as i have to wait for an important ordered material, i've never used before.
This will be a time consuming workshop, because there is a lot of drytime in between. Well, i'm always busy and my hands are never resting, so today i'll show my

Owl - Mania

I don't think, i need to write something about toilet - paperrolls (:o)
Actually, these are lanterns, i found here

This is a Handy - Case

These Owls are very easy to sew. I've found a template and a video tutorial on The DIY Dish.
Have a nice sunday

Embrace the Old......

...is the theme of the first challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show for 2013. Well, my interpretation of this theme is to create something looking old and vintage and this will always be something *French*
The idea for this project, comes from my adored friend Lilla and she makes the most beautiful projects from fabric. Last week, she posted a book of burlap ( hesian for my english readers) with a bird quotes theme *here* and she also made a video tutorial *here*
I've just finished my version of a burlap book *History of France* Instead of wallpaper, i sewed fabric to the inside book. I've printed vintage pictures to some kind of thermo - transfer paper and ironed them to the inside pages of cotton - fabric. I also stamped on that transfer - paper and ironed on, too.
It's better to explain, when you see the pictures.

Histoire de France

The picture on cover is printed on fabric

The vintage coloured picture is made with thermo - transfer paper ironed to fabric

Left side a printed version - right side stamped on transfer - paper
On top of the right side, i adhered a stamped tag

Right side printed version - left side stamped.
On top of the right side, i stamped pen nips on used teabag *Earl Grey* (:o)

Both sides stamped on thermo - transfer - paper
After ironing, i stamped the quotes on top

Printed version on the left and a handmade bookmark

Thanks Lilla, for this great inspiration (:o)
Hope you like this rough and whimsical look
and
thanks so much, for your very appreciated comments,
i really love to read

First i want to wish you all a Happy New Year especially to my new appreciated followers. Thanks so much for all your interest in my weekly obsessions (:o)

The following special ATC is a prototype and was planned for Fun with ATC's challenge # 77 - Choose a song, but i could't get it finished at time. The song i had in mind was this one:

Well, back from my New Year's Eve Party, i've finished my ATC and it fits the new

My first ATC - Fan

What else is going on the next weeks besides the normal obsessions?
Well, the new Lifetime Workshop with Mr. Skinner *Book of  Ruination* is starting in March.
Untill then
