As i found this cutie i knew it wanted to be treated with wings
Look how happy it looks now (:o)
This was the original colour and i've already cut some slits with the dremel
After two layers of gesso
Created wings from grungepaper and applied gesso also
Painted the pig skin - coloured and a wash of raw umber on top
The wings got a treatment with Texture Glas
I've glued cardboard gears and strips of grungepaper to the pig
I gave the wings a wash of Traditions Aquamarine and the embellishments where painted skin - coloured, too
The aging part was done with raw umber
I've applied the paint with with a brush.....
....and softly took off the paint with baby wipes
Next... glued on the metal embellishments
Painted the metal with raw umber, a touch of burnt sienna....
... some spots of blue green light and Metallic Lustre Gold
Sealed everything with Faux Finish Medium
Pigs fly just fine
