My entry

I can imagine some of you are expecting an altered bottle and honestly i was thinking about it but i decided to challenge myself with some cards.
I don't often buy wooden stamps but this one from Inkadinkado was love at first sight

I stamped on speciality stamping paper, coloured with Distress Inks and used Glossy Accents on top
I've cut some stamped flowers off and adhered paper flowers behind for a 3D effect

I also stamped on acetate and used acrylic paint on top of the image for a 2nd card

Turn around....

I adhered vintage paper behind the acetate

A closer look to the left card...with more 3D bottles

I've made molds from vials with a two part silicone

....some metal embellishments...

The bottles look a bit dingy when you take them out of the mold.
Give them a short blast with the heatgun and the shine appears
I used DecoArt Elegant Finish Metallic Glaze to paint the cork plugs

...i also glued paper behind the bottles

What else can you do with these bottles?
I also use the bottles for one of my never ending projects

The cards again

I hope you feel inspired to join the challenge, too (:o)
For more inspiration take a look at the DT creations here and here.

This month you can win four pots Luminarte Silks Acrylic Glaze sponsored by Artist Trading Post. The DT will choose their Top 3 and don't forget: The overall winner will get published at the Craft Stamper magazine and will be offered a Guest Designer spot for an upcoming challenge.

Have fun (:o)

Toll, dass du das auf Take It Make It einreichst!

Urlaub hin oder her...
