Happy wednesday dear crafters (:o)
It's day 3 of Stampendous Stack Art blog challenge inspiration week.
If you're just joining, don't miss the great inspiration from Monday's Post and Tuesday's Post.
Stampendous is giving away three Stack Art prize packages this week. Each package will contain one Stack Art Kraftboard Kit, one Stack Art Stamp Set and one Stack Art Elements Kit. Your comments on the designer's blogs are very much appreciated and your entry into the drawing.
Today i make a clear statement
I thought this would be fun to wear at the next craft fair i'm visiting.
Supplies: Stampendous Stack Art Kraftboard *Royal Heart*, The corresponding Stampendous Stack Art Stamp Set *Royal Heart*, DecoArt Media Gesso, Media Fluid Acrylics Cadmium Orange Hue, Vermilion, Yellow Green Light and Interference Gold. DecoArt Media Antiquing Cream black, Media Crackle Glaze and Traditions Artist Acrylic Quinacridone Violet. From my stash: Specialty stamping paper, Utee and two free stamps from the CraftStamper Magazin ( wings, pocket watch)
All Kraftboard pieces had a layer of Gesso and the base was painted with Media Fluid Acrylics Yellow Light Green. I stamped on top with the border and text stamps from the *Royal Heart* Stamp Set and applied a layer of Media Crackle Glaze. Finished with Media Antiquing Cream *black*
The next Kraftboard piece was painted with Media Fluid Acrylics Vermilion and Cadmium Orange Hue. I stamped on top with the second text stamp from the *Royal Heart* Stamp Set. The round Kraftboard piece was painted with Traditions Artist Acrylic Quinacridone Violett and both pieces had a top coat of Media Fluid Acrylics Interference Gold.
The tiny heart is a bit tricky to explain because it was a go with the flow. I applied Gesso and as it was touch dry i started carving with a toothpick. As the Gesso was completely dry i've painted the heart with black acrylic paint. Next was drybrushing with white acrylic paint then more painting with blue colours and drybrushing again. You continue painting and drybrushing and you stop when you like it.
I stamped the face from the *Royal Heart* Stamp Set with Archival black on specialty stamping paper. Masking the face, stamped the pocket watch on top and heat embossed with Utee. I did the same with the wings. The Utee is ultra thick embossing enamel and gives a sturdy base that i can use it as a pendant on a necklace. Everything is glued together with Glossy Accents. I think an eyelet will fit on top of the stamped pocket watch, too
Well, that's my inspiration for today. Feel free to hop over to Stampendous and take a look at the amazing creations of my team mates.
Thanks for your appreciated comments
