Hello my crafty friends (:o)
Today it's my turn to spread the news about the new DecoArt Media Winter Wonderland Challenge and the possibility to win a DecoArt Media prize package valued over 120 $
The Challenge will close on January 29th and the winner will be chosen by the
DecoArt Media Design Team on February 1th
The winner will be announced on the DecoArt Media Blog and on Facebook February 2nd
Are you ready for another DecoArt Media Challenge?
This challenge will be a winter theme full of blue and purple hues and maybe even some snow!

Please *click* on a photo for a larger view

I've challenged myself with a layout

I started the background with the DecoArt Media Mister *black* on Watercolour Paper

I've sprinkled some Sea Salt....

..and waited for the magic to happen....meanwhile....

..i transformed two lasercopy pictures of different sizes .... into one picture...with
DecoArt Media Matte Medium

Some handsewing around the picture, too

As the background was dry ...get rid of the Sea Salt...

... i mixed one drop DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics Dioxazine Purple with
DecoArt Media Crackle Paste and used a Bubble Mask from Dutch Doobadoo

The cracks apear when the paste is dry.

I stamped a text stamp and snow flakes with Archival black on some spaces

I used red sticky tape to adhere the picture

Flicked white paint drops over the complete layout

Decorating with Tim Holtz idea - ology Remnant Rubs

Purple Crackle Mixture also layerd onto some chipboard snowflake which i cut in half

American Crafts Printed Foil Letter Stickers for the main title

 Happy 2016 my crafty friends!
I hope you feel inspired and maybe you submit one piece or two into this great challenge. Don't forget to share with your friends so everyone can join in the fun.
