Hello Crafters and Makers (:o)
Sharing the last making of.. *painted wood block* .. with you today
Step by step....
Stamping with StazOn and LaBlanche stamps on Specialty Stamping Paper. Coloured the images with Distress Ink and used clear gloss embossing powder on top
Glued frames on top of the images with DecoArt Media Liquid Glass
Also glued the frames to the wood block with DecoArt Media Liquid Glass
Adhering *hot-glue* faces with DecoArt Media Liquid Glass, Miniature bricks ( leftover from this project) with DecoArt Media Modeling Paste and applying DecoArt Media Texture Sand Paste on top
Let completely dry
I started painting with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics Carbon Black...but...
..changed my mind and used the DecoArt Media Mister in Carbon Black.
The Spraypaint goes easy into the nooks and crannys.
Next up drybrushing with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics Raw Umber followed by Burnt Sienna to the sides of the wood block only
Painted the miniature bricks with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics Medium Grey Value 6
Drybrushing the faces with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics in Medium Grey Value 6 followed by Titanium White. Applied a wash of Phethalo Blue, drybrushing Titanium White again, applied a wash of Transparent Yellow Iron Oxide and drybrushed Titanium White again
Drybrushing DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics Titanium White to some bricks, too for an uneven look
I hope you enjoyed this series of wood blocks
