Brusho - Card

Hi Crafters and Makers (:o)

Today i'm sharing a Brusho - Card with you, i've made for a Facebook Group. The themes are different every month.

A short step by step

Tim Holtz Tissue Tape / Specialty Stamping Paper

Stamping with black Archival Ink and Brett Weldele Stampset *Dandy Robot*

DecoArt Modeling Paste *White* and Tim Holtz Clockwork Stencil

I'm using two of my favorite colours, turquoise and dark brown

I'm mixing the Brusho powder with water onto a craft sheet

I'm dabbing the card into the blue powder / water mix, first. Let run....and most important ...let dry...before using another colour.

A little bit more stamping and some Rub Ons

Inspiration of this card comes from the master himself and his August 2014 tag.

Take It, Make It

The current blog challenge at Craft Stamper is a *Take A Technique* month and the theme is
*Text Me!*

Use text or script background stamps in your projects. Any language, any style. Old bookpages, bits torn from magazines, scrapbooking papers..whatever you can find. The *text* part does NOT include sentiments, phrase or single word stamps. Think backgrounds!
You'll find the guidlines to play here
The challenge runs till midnight GMT Wednesday February 24th 2016

Happy Valentine (:o)

My simple looking card includes a lot text stamping you wouldn't expect  at first sight.

I started stamping the first script stamps with Versamark on Specialty Stamping Paper

Applied Distress Ink Victorian Velvet

I painted two layers of DecoArt Antiquing Cream Titanium White

I stamped with another script stamp and Distress Ink Fired Brick on top

I removed some of the Antiquing Cream with a baby wipe from the middle of the card

Next...i stamped the third script stamp with Versamark around the edges of the card and heat embossed with Ranger Sticky Embossing Powder

I used gold foil on top of the sticky powder

Stamped the third script stamp with Distress Ink Fired Brick again...only twice in the middle of the card

Used another stamp...with StazOn Cloudy Grey on the edges

Applied the Glued Pad Refiller with a sponge and used a heart stencil

Some pink glitter adhered

Memento Lilac Posies around the edges

I think this is washi tape from Ikea

Finished the card with an epoxy sticker

Card - Gesso Resist

Hello Crafters and Makers (:o)

My recently altered playing cards went into the mail.
The theme of this swap was nature / found poetry and there went a matching card for the hostess within my package of course

This card started with DecoArt Gesso and a ladybug
stencil

Next applied Distress Ink all over the card
pink raspberry - evergreen bough - mustard seed

Used another (flower) stencil and applied Distress Ink
fired brick

Removed the Distress Ink from the gessoed ladybugs with a baby wipe

Drew bubbles / circles with a permanent marker

Used a white and a gold marker inside of the circles and glued down my quote
