Take It, Make It

Hello Crafters and Makers :o)
It's time to join the current challenge at Craft Stamper
All of there challenges will be *Anything Goes* this year, as long as you've stamped somewhere.
You'll find the guidelines to play here
The challenge runs till midnight GMT Wednesday 25th January 2017

I'm working on two backgrounds at the same time.
I'm showing you a masculine card today and the other card - for a Facebook Group - later of the month.

Started with DecoArt Media Gesso white on black cardstock, applied roughly with a pallet knift
Because the cardstock tends to warp, it's getting a layer of DecoArt Matte Medium on the back.
 Next up...smudging with some coffee...
...and let dry
Love the look and the smell
Stamp on top with Archival coffee and sepia. I'm using a script stamp from Stampendous stack art stamp set.
Next i'm using tea bags. Used teabags...They are various printed with an inkjet printer and also printed mulberry paper.
I'm adhering snippets of both papers to the background with DecoArt Media Matte Medium
Stamping LaBlanche stamp with archival black on manila cardstock
 Using Distress Ink Ground Espresso

Colouring with Spectrum Aqua
Applied DecoArt Media Crackle Paint to the background
Just a little bit more coffee on top of the Crackle Paint
Painted a layer of DecoArt Media Crackle Glaze
 DecoArt Media Antiquing Cream White
 Removed the Antiquing Cream
click for a larger view to see the white cracks on the card below
Sealed the background with DecoArt Media Ultra - Matte Varnish
Painted chipboard with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics Titan Buff
Stamped on top with the same Stampendous script stamp with archival black and sepia and applied DecoArt Media Crackle Glaze
Distressed a background card for the stamped image with Distress Ink Ground Espresso
Sewed stamped image to backgound card
Glued stamped image to mixed media background and adhered mixed media background to base card
 Prepared rusty embellishments
Painted rusty embellishments and some spots at the background with DecoArt Media Antiquing Cream Patina Green

Small piece of washi tape, a metal corner and RubOns

I hope you feel inspired, to join the challenge.
Happy Crafting!

Hallo Elly, das sieht superklasse aus und auch das Making of ist super gemacht. So kriegt man eine Idee, was man mit den doch recht großen LaBlanche Stempeln mal Zen kann.
Gefällt mir sehr.
Liebe Grüße
